Cayman police have launched an investigation after a young person was found unconscious and rushed to hospital after reportedly taking an unknown drug.
The child was taken ambulance to George Town Hospital, but released after treatment.
Another child, a friend of the first victim, later displayed similar symptoms and was taken to hospital by one of their parents and later released.
The incidents happened on Monday night.
Police said parents should keep an eye on their children’s behaviour and contact the Multi-Action Safeguarding Hub if they suspected drug use.

It would have been great for the RCIPS to provide the ages. As a concerned parent, not certain if these were toddlers or teenagers. Without the information it’s a bit difficult to look out for something when you know nothing.
