On 7 Aug. 1968, Cayman Airways Limited (CAL) made its inaugural flight from Grand Cayman to Cayman Brac. To mark its 57th anniversary, the national airline is running an airfare sale from 1-11 Aug. for travel between 8 Sept. and 12 Dec.
“Customers can enjoy exclusive airfare deals for travel between the Cayman Islands and the airline’s fall destinations – just one way in which CAL is saying thanks for their continued loyalty and support,” the airline said in a press release this week.
The airfare deals apply for travel between Grand Cayman and Miami, Tampa, New York, Los Angeles, Kingston, Havana, La Ceiba and Panama. Airfares are also on sale for domestic flights between Grand Cayman and the Sister Islands, Cayman Brac and Little Cayman.
“As we celebrate another year of service, this airfare sale is our way of expressing heartfelt thanks to our loyal customers, as well as for those who have recently chosen Cayman Airways for their travel needs,” said Paul Tibbetts, chief financial officer and executive vice president of commercial affairs.
