A man who died after he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into trees was named by police on Tuesday.

Kheon Robinson, 29, was killed after the crash on the Linford Pierson Highway in George Town, which happened just after 11pm on Sunday, 27 July.

Robinson, from Bodden Town, was pronounced dead at the scene by a doctor.

The single-vehicle incident is under investigation by traffic police, who appealed for witnesses. Anyone with information about the crash is being asked to call 649-6254 during business hours or the George Town Police Station at 949-4222.

Robinson was one of two deaths in the space of three hours on the roads.

In a separate incident, a driver died early Monday morning, 28 July.

Durvin Norales Mejia died and three other people were injured, one seriously, after a crash on Shamrock Road in Savannah.

The Honda Fit left the road near Cool Springs Road in Savannah at about 1:30am on 28 July and crashed into trees.

The three injured are still being treated in hospital.
