A Cayman Islands Chamber of Commerce workshop on 29 Aug. is designed to help entrepreneurs, small business owners and professionals tell the story behind their brand.

The workshop, ‘Tell Your Brand Story’, will be led by long-time local communications strategist Lynn Markoff, founder of Convey Communications.

In this engaging, hands-on session, Markoff – whose 30+ years of experience includes award-winning branding and communications work with Dart, Maples, Cable & Wireless (now Flow) and Caribbean Publishing – will guide participants through the essential steps of building an authentic brand that truly resonates.

Some of the topics covered will include crafting a brand statement and key messages that align with a company’s or individual’s mission, vision and values.

The workshop is designed for those just starting out with a business or for those looking to refresh their company or personal brand identity so that it reflects what they stand for and differentiates them from competitors.

“This course is absolutely vital for any business looking to grow with intention,” said Emily Sintorn, Chamber training coordinator. “Branding isn’t just about visuals – it’s about knowing who you are, what you stand for and how to communicate that clearly to your customers. Lynn’s expertise makes this a must-attend for anyone serious about their business success.”

Markoff is a PROSCI change management expert and experienced facilitator whose engaging style and practical approach make learning both fun and transformative.

“I have a passion for helping people tell their stories well,” she said. “I often find that people don’t know how to start the process of discovery or rediscovery about what matters most to them and what values underpin their ventures. This workshop will provide the tools and templates for attendees to develop an authentic brand that reflects who they are.”

This half-day workshop, which runs from 9am until noon, is designed to teach attendees how to tell their story with clarity, confidence and impact. This course will help businesses or professionals stand out, build trust and grow with purpose.
