Andrel Harris, a beloved member of the Compass Media team, worked at the Cayman Compass for several years.
During his time as a journalist with the newspaper, which he joined in 2019, he was known for his integrity, fearless reporting and unwavering commitment to upholding the principles of a free and fair press.
Andrel later joined Cayman Islands Government for a stint working in communications, before returning to Compass Media earlier this year as senior video journalist on the newly launched TV station. He went missing in June and is greatly missed by all his colleagues and throughout the Cayman Islands community.
