BDO Cayman hosted its 2026 Annual Pickleball Invitational Championship on 6 Feb., bringing together more than 200 professionals from across the Cayman Islands financial services industry for a high-energy day of sport, connection and community impact.

Now in its fourth year, the tournament has become a standout fixture in the local financial services industry calendar, with nearly 40 firms participating from across the asset management, insurance, corporate recovery, liquidation and insolvency spaces.

Proceeds from the event amounting to $15,000 were donated to Cayman ARK (Acts of Random Kindness), a Cayman-based charity dedicated to supporting individuals and families in need, reinforcing the firm’s ongoing commitment to making a meaningful local impact. Beyond the competition, the event delivered a vibrant social atmosphere, with attendees enjoying a full bar service with the help of Jacques Scott, food from Carnivore, music from DJ Antoine, and on-site recovery sessions provided by BodyWorks, offering complimentary massage support throughout the day.

Richard Horton, partner at BDO Cayman, said, “Now in its fourth year, we couldn’t be more proud of this event. We’re so grateful to everyone who joined us on the day from across the financial services industry, and we’re delighted that with their support, the funds raised from the event will help make a real difference in our local community.”.

Walkers, which claimed the 2026 Championship title, will hold the tournament trophy until next year.
