With Easter weekend one of the biggest holidays in Cayman, here’s a list of the opening hours of key government offices, banks and food and drink outlets.

Banks

The six retail banks – Butterfield, CIBC Caribbean, Scotiabank, Proven, RBC. Cayman National Bank – will be closed for on Friday 3 April and Monday 6 April.

Banks will maintain standard service hours leading up to and after the holiday weekend.

Department of Vehicles & Drivers’ Licensing

The Crewe Road location will be closed from Friday 3 April through to Monday 6 April.

The Breakers and West Bay DVDL offices will be closed on Friday 3 April. It will open on Saturday for their regular hours (9am-4pm) but will be closed after that until Wednesday 8 April.

Workforce Opportunities & Residency Cayman

WORC will be closed from Good Friday through to Easter Monday. WORC holiday hours are 8.30am to 4pm.

Land Registry and General Registry

The office is closed from Friday 3 April through Monday 6 April.

Supermarkets

Foster’s, Hurley’s, Kirk Market, Cost-U-Less and Priced Right are all closed on Good Friday and Easter Sunday, but open regular hours on Saturday 4 April and for reduced holiday hours on Easter Monday.

Liquor stores

Tortuga will be closed on Good Friday, then it will reopen on Saturday from 10am to 9pm. On Easter Sunday it will open from 1pm to 7pm while on Easter Monday it will be open from 10am to 7pm.

Blackbeard’s will be closed on Good Friday, then it will reopen on Saturday from 10am to 8pm. It will be closed on Easter Sunday but then reopen on Easter Monday between 10am to 5pm.
