Two Cayman attractions have ranked among the Caribbean’s highest-rated visitor experiences, according to a new analysis of TripAdvisor reviews by UK-based travel company Iglu Cruise.
The analysis examined 60 popular attractions across the Caribbean and ranked them according to the percentage of five-star ‘excellent’ reviews posted on TripAdvisor.
Cayman and Cuba were the only countries with more than one attraction to make the top 10.
Stingray City placed 4th overall in the region, with 85.8% of its 7,243 reviews rated five stars.
Cayman Crystal Caves ranked 6th, with 84.7% of 4,439 reviews receiving five-star ratings.
At the top of the list was Hunte’s Gardens in Barbados, where more than 90% of visitors left five-star reviews, followed by Grace Bay Beach in Providenciales, Turks and Caicos with 89% five-star reviews. Eagle Beach in Aruba received the most reviews, totalling at 10,698, with 78.1% of them receiving five stars.
The rankings placed Cayman alongside destinations often heavily associated with nature-based tourism – a rapidly-growing segment within the global travel industry, driven by outdoor, sustainable, and environmentally responsible experiences.
In 2023, more than 980 million travellers participated in nature-based trips globally, across over 150 countries.
The global ecotourism market size reached US$244.9 billion in 2025 and is expected to grow to US$660.7 billion by 2034.

- Valle de Vinales – Cuba
- The Baths National Park – British Virgin Islands
