Almost two weeks of night-time roadworks have begun at the CUC roundabout on the Linford Pearson Highway near Kings Sports Centre.

In a joint public advisory from the Ministry of Planning, Lands, Agriculture, Housing and Infrastructure and the National Roads Authority, motorists are being urged to “exercise caution observe the posted speed limit of 25 mph and remain alert for construction personnel, large trucks and heavy equipment operating in the vicinity”.

The advisory added that motorists travelling through the area should yield to vehicles already within the roundabout and give way to traffic approaching from the right. Motorists are also being advised to travel in a clockwise direction around the central island and use indicators to signal an exit from the roundabout.

The works will take place between 8pm and 4am and are expected to be completed by 24 July.
