The Judas bird is endemic to the Cayman Islands and characterised by a distinctive white crest. This one joined Ileann Powery when she stopped by Boatswain’s Bay in West Bay one evening. “I often make a stop at this location to take in the scenery and beauty of the ocean. This day was a little different as this bird perched on the limb right in the direction of the sunset I was watching, allowing me to capture his silhouette.”
