The Cayman Islands Athletics Association hosts a development meet on Thursday 19 January.
It is at the Truman Bodden Sports Complex starting at 6pm. The season’s first meet went well on Saturday at the Truman Bodden Complex and this meet is to help aspiring athletes improve their fitness and performance levels.
Chantelle Morrison came through a 300 metres comfortably and Jonathan Frederick won the discus by a wide margin.

This meet is for age groups 11-12, 13-14, 15-16, 17 and over. Events to be contested are: long jump, triple jump, high jump, shot put, discus, 150m, 300m, 600m, 800m and 1500m.
