The 5-a-side football season saw another exciting round of games at the King’s Sports Centre last week.
In Division One, two of the best teams clashed and it was Banaca Boys who finished triumphant, against Hurley’s, 6-2, thanks to a hat-trick by Rene Carter, a brace from Mark Ebanks and one from Richard Grant. Matthew Suberan and Paul Brown scored for Hurley’s.
In Division Two Security Centre beat West Star 5-3. Marc Brown hit a hat-trick for Security Centre and Ben Marlon found the net twice. Scorers for West Star were Ernel Whitely, Dexter Beckford and Jerome McLean.
BDO and Appleby battled to a thrilling 4-4 draw. Johnny Johnson hit a hat-trick for BDO and Jahon Shirinov got the other. Appleby’s scorers were Julian Narcise, Chris Ebanks and two from Andrew Solomon.
CFP Buzz Crusaders beat former nemisis Transformers 6-2. Kyle Santamaria hit a superb hat-trick for Buzz and the others came from Kris Pearson, Dave McLaughlin and Forde Pearson. Transformers scorers were Carlos Minzette and Dominic Pearson.
PWC managed a 4-3 victory over KPMGI thanks to a hat-trick from Rich C and one from Dan Fortune. Rowan McLaughlin hit two for KPMG1 and Niall O’Sullivan got their other.
In the third division, CML Claymores beat Dog House II 3-2. Alan Kennedy smashed in a brace for CML Claymores and Richard Goulden the other.
Ernst & Young beat KPMG Titans 5-3 with goals from Rob C, Jon Japal, Chris Douglas, Olson Bush and Matt Hall. Ian Hope hit two for the Titans and Miklos Ujhelyi got the other.
