Update 8:00am: Three prisoners who escaped from Northward on
Wednesday night were still on the run Thursday morning, police have confirmed.
The search for the three escapees continues.
Initial story: Three inmates escaped from Northward prison Wednesday evening sparking a police manhunt.
No other details were available as of 10.45pm but police were expected to issue further details shortly. When contacted by the Compass, a spokesman confirmed that three males had escaped.
