Cayman Islands Governor Helen Kilpatrick’s official vehicle was involved in a collision early Wednesday afternoon, her chief of staff confirmed.
No one was injured in the accident, which occurred shortly after 1 p.m. on West Bay Road near the Queens Court shopping center.
Details of who was at fault in the crash between the governor’s Lincoln and a Chevrolet Impala were not known at press time. Governor Kilpatrick was in the Lincoln at the time of the accident, but her driver was operating the vehicle.
