New to the bar

Three more attorneys have been admitted to the Cayman Islands Bar.

The new attorneys, from Appleby, – Corrine Feisel, Stephanie Chan and Anthony Heaver-Wren – bring to the Bar a wealth and variety of experience and knowledge.

Corinne Feisel was initially admitted as a solicitor of British Colombia in 2000 and was also subsequently admitted as an attorney in Alberta, Canada.

A graduate of the University of Calgary, Corrine went on to gain a Masters of Law from Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto. She has practised in the provinces of British Colombia and Alberta as a securities and finance lawyer with emphasis in the areas of mining, oil and gas.

The second corporate commercial attorney to be admitted is Stephanie Chan. She was initially admitted as a Scottish solicitor in January 2000 and obtained her LLB degree with honours from the University of Dundee in 1998.

She previously practised in Edinburgh and specialised in investment management agreements and international swap derivative agreements.

Anthony Heaver-Wren, an insolvency specialist, was admitted as a barrister and solicitor in the Supreme Court of Western Australia in 1994 and as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales in 2006. He has practised extensively in corporate recovery and insolvency in Perth, Western Australia and in the United Kingdom.
