Police are investigating a machete attack in North Side that left a woman hospitalised this weekend.
Royal Cayman Islands Police officers arrested a man in connection with the attack, which occurred outside the Driftwood bar after 3am Sunday.
Witnesses said the man and woman were apparently in a fight. The woman suffered cuts to her face, but was expected to survive.
The man was arrested on suspicion of assault, but has not been charged.
