The Brac Command Centre is still in need of the following items:

  • 300-400 square-point shovels
  • 300 buckets
  • 500 mops and brooms
  • 100 cases of bleach
  • 50 scrubbing boards
  • 35 bath pans for the elderly
  • Water
  • Lanterns
  • Double A batteries
  • Size D batteries
  • Dehumidifiers (any size)
  • Button-top nails
  • Insect repellant
  • Basic cleaning supplies, such as disinfectant and soap powder

Donation instructions:

Items donated to the government must be consigned to the DAPAH Command Centre Cayman Brac.

Public donations may be made to the Red Cross or other non-government organisations. They should be taken to the Red Cross offices between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm daily.

Note: Boxes or goods should be properly packaged and have labels indicating their contents, e.g. non-perishable foods, cleaning supplies etc.

Persons sending relief donations to family members should ensure that their family member’s name and address are clearly printed on the packaging.
