Cayman National Bank has opened its Customer Service Center in Cayman Brac from 9-11am.
The hours of operation are temporary and will be increased as circumstances permit. In addition, the ATM in Cayman Brac will be available from 9am to 6pm daily.
The bank expects to re-open in Little Cayman as soon as possible and an announcement will be made shortly regarding opening hours.
As a result of the impact of Hurricane Paloma, Cayman National Bank will also be waiving loan and mortgage payments for its customers in Cayman Brac and Little Cayman from October 2008 up to and including January 2009. Payments previously made in October are being reversed to provide immediate cash in accounts.
Executive Vice President of Cayman National, Mr. Brian Esau, said he is pleased the staff of Grand Cayman has also worked diligently to assist their fellow colleagues in Cayman Brac with the re-opening of the Service Centre there.
‘We have offered the waiver of loan payments from October to ensure our customers have available cash to assist them during this extremely difficult time in the Brac and Little Cayman. Should customers however not wish to take advantage of this offer, we request that they notify the Manager or Assistant Manager in Cayman Brac, or speak with a Customer Service Representative in Little Cayman.’
Mr. Esau stated that Cayman National Bank is committed to providing excellent customer service to all our customers and will also continue to assist in Cayman Brac and Little Cayman with the recovery efforts following Hurricane Paloma’s devastation there.
