The results for the Pirates Week Children’s Art Competition have been announced.
Due to cancellation of the Children’s Fun Day as a result of inclement weather, the awarding of the winners took place on 13 November at the George Town District Day on Cardinall Avenue downtown.
The results are as follows:
In the 4 Years and Under category, Kaitlyn McPherson of Cayman Prep and High received first place, Kierlynn Reyes of George Town Primary followed in second place, and Joshua Small of Cayman Prep and High took third place.
In the 5 – 7 Years division, three students from George Town Primary, Katrine David , Josette Facey and Christina Kozaily, took first, second and third place respectively.
In the 8 – 10 Years category, Kozhaya Kozaily of George Town Primary was awarded the first place prize, while Dorothy Ojerio and Tom Blake of Cayman Prep and High, took second and third place respectively.
In the 11 – 13 Years category, three students from Cayman Prep and High, Rachel Boyd-Moss, Ashley Da Costa, and Lee Lewis received first, second and third place prizes respectively.
In the Special Education division, Matthew Ebanks of the Lighthouse School was awarded the first place prize, Mark Ebanks of Lighthouse School received the second place award and Jonathan McField of Lighthouse School took third place.
Brittany Parsaligan of George Town Primary was awarded first place in the Photography category.
