Royal fleet here this weekend

The Royal Navy’s fleet auxiliary vessel RFA Wave Ruler will visit Grand Cayman from Saturday through Friday, marking the end of the 2010 hurricane season.

RFA Wave Ruler however is remaining on-station in the Caribbean and will top-up its disaster relief stores during the visit.

Local storage of the UK Government’s Department for International Development items is the responsibility of the Cayman Islands Red Cross. The stores include family hygiene kits, cots, generators, and water containers.

Equally important, the vessel’s break in Cayman will allow the crew some well-deserved rest and recreation.
