Raven Avenue was in a mess; the recent rains had created numerous potholes.
So one morning, after skilfully navigating these ‘craters’ and feeling quite proud that I had fallen into two, I wrote the National Roads Authority to advise them of the situation.
Few people commented that the letter would be a waste of time; one voice was not enough to get any action from them.
I did not take their advice and mailed my letter.
In a few days I got a call from the NRA acknowledging my letter.

Very shortly after that the road crew was on Raven Avenue busy filling these potholes and although this is a temporary fix, it will certainly make driving to and from my home much more pleasant.
