Conductor gearing up for grand finale

Butterfield Bank (Cayman) Limited welcomed Wayne Marshall to Cayman on the weekend by presenting him with a Butterfield Angel Fish and a copy of the popular book Destination Cayman Islands.

Mr. Marshall, who performs all over the world as a virtuoso organist, solo conductor and pianist, will be conducting the grand finale of this year’s Cayman Arts Festival, The Night of a Hundred Voices, sponsored by Butterfield Bank.

Described by UK newspaper The Guardian as ‘an electrifying conductor’, Mr. Marshall promises to make the performance an evening to remember. The concert brings together international artists to play alongside the Cayman National Orchestra and the Cayman National Choir.

It takes place Saturday, 18 February at First Baptist Church, Crewe Road, 7pm. Tickets are CI$25 in advance and CI$30 at the door. They’re available at Funky Tangs, Foster’s (West Bay, The Strand, and Airport), Reflections, The Camera Store, Micro Matrix and Z99.
