A mix of budding artists transformed a section of Cardinal Avenue into a work of art Saturday.
Chalking up the street, sidewalks and even some store fronts were the young and old.
Created were dinosaurs, dolls, Caribbean houses Irish flags, birds, Looney Tunes, Dora the Explorer and boots, flowers and much more.
Free chalk was provided, and youngsters were encouraged to use their imaginations for their own creations.
Organised by the National Gallery the event was part of the Cayfest activities.

Chalk fest winner in the 0-6 category went to Hamish Attenborough; 7-10 Asher Francis; 11-15 Shana Linwood; and 16 and over Amy Scott.
