Stop or be stopped

There is a lot of talk about the actions of British Police shooting the man in a London Train Station. My deepest sympathy goes to the family of the man and to the concerned Police Officers.

I also give thanks to the British Police for having the sense to have a shoot to kill policy in this age of suicide bombers.

You have to remember that if you were on a train and the Police catch a real bomber would you want the police to shoot the bomber dead and prevent a bomb going off or do you want them to take caution and allow a bomb to go off killing you, your fellow passengers and the Police themselves.

In the recent case the man has to take some of the blame by not stopping when ordered to do so. I know that the majority of British people, law abiding citizens, will wish the police to continue with the policy even if mistakes are made. People are now warned, cooperate with the Police, if you are instructed to STOP, then you STOP.

Al-Qaida killed this man; no one else.
