Businessman Joey Ebanks has come up with an answer to an island awash with higher prices.
It’s a wash with lower prices.
Faced with everything seemingly for ever costing more, the Auto Spa boss has decided to reverse the trend and slash prices at his car wash on Godfrey Nixon Way, as a rainy season special.
Mr. Ebanks says many motorists think that because this is the rainy season they should not wash their cars because they will just get dirty again.
But if they do not, grime and oil from the roads can end up bonding with the surface of the car and damage the paintwork, he warns.
Also, if a motorist hand cleans a car with a cloth it can end up leaving swirl marks, says Mr. Ebanks.
His car wash uses special detergents and the latest equipment with foam brushes for a safe, fast and affordable clean, he says.
The cuts mean that the car wash prices can start from as low as $11.95, he adds.
Auto Spa, which can process up to 250 cars a day, is open from 9am to 6pm, from Monday to Saturday and can be reached on 943-1946.
