Cayman coaches in Trinidad

Three Caymanian football coaches are now in Trinidad and Tobago participating in a nine-day British FA International Coaching Licence Course that will lead to an FA International Coaching Licence.

Olson Bush, Mitchum Sandford, and Vincent Mitchel have been resident at the Jao Havelange Centre for Excellence since 21 September for this course which is for coaches through the Caribbean, and Central and North America. It runs until 30 September, and is being funded jointly by CONCACAF and the British FA.

Graduates of the programme will be eligible for the FA Advance Coaching Course held in England, which is recognised as the UEFA’s ‘A’ coaching award.

The invitation from the FA was for one coach from each jurisdiction, but after three local coaches applied, special representation by the Cayman Islands Football Association ensured all the Caymanians were accepted.
