A wakeup call to nation of Cayman

At this time in our history we as a people – Caymanians – do not look too good to the rest of the world in the way of safe and friendly.

Instead, we find ourselves drifting day by day like an old ship that has broken away from anchor and is drifting upon the sea, headed toward the rocks that will surely smash her up with greed and recklessness on board.

Our way of life that was loved so very much by so many that came to our shores will be changed forever and as we all know in these times, not for the good.

Our forefathers would be ashamed of the way we have handled the good ship Cayman. Here we are in this day and age going on in Cayman like the big cities of the USA with so much bad that people are starting to forget quickly about just how good we are and just how friendly we can be.

Caymanian’s history will judge us very harshly if we were to go over the edge with our whole island turning upside down from good to bad. As the real God fearing people that we were, to the now demons of Satan that many of us have become; trying to take all you can with you to Hell and when you really look at it, you will take nothing, only hurt, harm and pain that you will leave behind here after you have gone.

Our real way of life is not with guns and ammo shooting down each other or turning against each other for the things of t his world.

Many of us were trained to be this way by those that follow the ways of demons here with us now.

They are in our schools, churches, police, workforce, government, many, many places on our Island and many of us are married to these demons, plus we have some of our own Caymanians that were born in to the demon way.

History will look at us perhaps as the Incas or Aztecs or old. Remember them?

We must, for the sake of the future of our people, nip t his rampage of evil that is going on here on Cayman in the bud and try our best to get back to where we should be and that is to try and make life better for all on Cayman with the safety and respect and friendliness as we had before and know how to be. We came out of hardship and great poverty .

Now, as I see it, many are headed back there if they have not reached it already. Yes, we were very poor but in the year 2011 we should not have any kind of poverty on Cayman. For in the years of plenty our nation forgot about what took us all out of those very poor days. Instead of national unity, we became separated people, making money dictate our lives. We neglected our way of life, our culture, even our children.

Many of you forgot to teach them the real ways of our people. We replaced the good things of our culture with the things of others and the TV. Now we find our children have become killers, thieves, robbers and do not know the ways of the real Caymanian.

And who must we blame for all of this? The whole leadership of Cayman government, parents, teachers, even the grandparents. We are all to blame for this big mess our whole culture is in. I ask the question, can we save Cayman and its people from destruction? Can we once again be the great, nice, friendly and quiet people of the Caribbean where love and respect are the order of the day? Where honour and pride in our Island and its people carries our culture forward. In God’s name, I do hope so.

I call to this nation to all the people that love Cayman from each corner of our land to try your very best to come together and make our Island once again the place where we can all be called the best people and island in the world.

At this present time in our history, this cannot be said, for as we all know things are not too well and if a great change is not made, our whole culture as we knew it will fade in the near future. I call upon the leadership of this country to call a national meeting once again and listen to the people and talk to the people with all other members of the House. We need a new direction that is a lot better than where we are heading now.

God help us in these times.

  1. Just the same old xenophobic clap trap we have been hearing for years.
Now the ex-pats who came here, to live, work and raise their families are demons who forced Caymanian parents to stop teaching moral values to their children.
This is despite the fact that ex-pat children cannot even go to the same schools as Caymanian children.

Why then are so few of these demons locked up in prison?
Trust me, the ex-pats living in Cayman who keep the country going are really tired of this garbage.

    Give me a break.
