Sealy leads All-Gulf stats

Bodden Town keeper Ramon Sealy is having a great season in goal for the University of West Florida and doing so well that he has been selected for the

All-Gulf South Conference football team.

Before last weekend’s games Sealy, 20, started 11 matches in goal logging 978 minutes on the pitch. He ranks first in the league in goals allowed against average (.74), second in saves percentage (.784) and third in shutouts (4).

He is studying for a degree in Information Technology, having already completed an Associate’s in Computer Science. Sealy is in his second year at the University and enjoying representing the university very much. Also a talented cricket, Sealy has represented Cayman at youth and senior level as an opening bat and wicket-keeper.

His dad Rickey said: “I believe he wants to become a professional footballer, whether in England or the USA. Wherever the opportunity presents itself.”
