A driver was rushed to hospital after his car crashed into a wall near a library.

The man was cut free from the black Nissan Skyline by firefighters. The crash happened just after 2:30am on Thursday, 13 Nov. on Bodden Town Road, near the Bodden Town Public Library.

This latest accident occurred as police are in discussions with the Arrive Alive 345 Campaign to collaborate on the annual ‘Operation Winter Guardian’ road safety initiative.

Winter Guardian is designed to cut traffic offences and crashes, particularly fatal ones and highlight the dangers of drinking and driving.

Police have appealed for witnesses.
