A motorcycle rider is being treated for serious injuries in hospital following a collision with an SUV, police said Sunday.
The collision occurred just after 11:50am on Shamrock Road, near Will T Drive.
Police said officers and other emergency services were dispatched by the 911 Communications Centre following the report of a two-vehicle collision between the motorcycle and the SUV.
The motorcyclist was transported to the hospital by ambulance, where he is being treated for what are believed to be serious injuries, police said.
The collision is being investigated by the police.
