Two West Bay men are in police custody after being arrested on a vessel with a package of ganja in the early morning hours on Wednesday.
The men, ages 33 and 35, were detained on suspicion of possession of ganja and drug importation offences, police said in a statement Thursday.
Police said that, just before 1am on Wednesday, officers of the Cayman Islands Coast Guard were conducting border patrols when they stopped the local vessel.
A package containing suspected ganja was recovered with the assistance of the RCIPS Air Operations Unit, police said.
