Aon has appointed Howard Byrne as head of the company’s captive and broking operations in Cayman.
He replaces Melissa Thomas who is leaving the firm.
Byrne, who is currently the chief commercial officer at the company, will become managing director of Aon Insurance Managers (Cayman) Ltd. and Aon Risk Services (Cayman) Ltd., from 1 July.
Byrne joined Aon Cayman in 2002. In 2011, he became responsible for Aon Cayman’s business development operations and in 2014 was promoted to join the Aon Cayman Executive Management Team as Director of Captive Services.
