Police have released the identities of the woman who died in last week’s diving incident and the man who was found in his car.
They are 70-year-old Pamela Bartlett Wilson, a visitor from the United States, and 44-year-old Prashant Dhanji Revar, an Indian national residing in Cayman.
Bartlett Wilson died last Friday.
Police reports stated that shortly before 9:50am officers were dispatched to a report of a person in distress on the shore at the West Bay Public Beach dock.
It was reported that Bartlett Wilson had been out diving when she experienced difficulties.
She was brought back on board the dive boat; however, at that time she was unresponsive.
She was then taken to shore.
Emergency services transported her to the Cayman Islands Hospital via ambulance, where she was subsequently pronounced dead.
In Revar’s case, he was found unresponsive in a vehicle parked outside a business on Bodden Town Road on 12 Oct.
Police reports stated that emergency services transported Revar to the Cayman Islands Hospital where he was subsequently pronounced dead.
