UPDATED 820AM: A two-vehicle collision left one driver in critical condition early Saturday morning.
Details on the crash are limited at this time; however, the RCIPS said officers responded the report of the collision on Shamrock Road, in the vicinity of Grand Harbour, early Saturday morning.
One of the drivers is in critical condition and has been transported to the Cayman Islands Hospital for treatment.
Police had closed the east-bound lanes of the road so investigations can be carried out in daylight.
Shamrock Road, heading east from the Grand Harbour roundabout, has now been reopened.
