For the latest information on Hurricane Beryl, visit Storm Centre.

Beryl hit the Cayman Islands overnight as a Category 3 hurricane. Storm surges and  heavy seas continue to affect the islands as Beryl moves farther away towards landfall on the Yucatan Peninsula, expected for Thursday night or Friday morning.

The storm on Grand Cayman seems to have especially impacted the south coast, leaving other areas relatively unscathed.

While government departments conduct their damage assessments, residents across the islands have been given the ‘all clear’ and had water access restored.

The Compass has compiled a gallery of Hurricane Beryl photos. Check back as more photos are added throughout the day.
