The Cayman Islands Football Association has announced the official draws for the 2024/25 Men’s and Women’s President’s Cup tournaments, which will begin next month.
The preliminary round for the men’s games kicks off on 15 Jan., while the women’s preliminary round starts on 19 Jan.
“The President’s Cup showcases the very best of domestic football in the Cayman Islands,” said CIFA president Alfredo Whittaker.
“It highlights the incredible talent we have in our community and provides an opportunity to celebrate the spirit of the game.”
Defending men’s champions Elite SC drew East End UFC in the first match of the competition, a Preliminary Round match-up that will be followed by Tigers SC and Scholars ISC.
In the quarter-finals, Academy has drawn Bodden Town while 345 FC will face Future SC.
Sunset’s men will face the winner of the East End and Elite match in the preliminary round.
The men’s final will be played 5 March.
On the women’s side, defending champion Sunset drew Elite in the preliminary round while Academy and Scholars will meet in the other preliminary round match.
In the semi-finals, Latinos will host the winner of the Sunset/Elite match while Fusion SC will host either Academy or Scholars. The women’s final is also slated for 5 March.
