Too often we hear about shortcomings in healthcare, but exceptional care deserves to be recognised as well. Our family would like to acknowledge the outstanding teamwork, expertise and compassion demonstrated by the healthcare professionals at Health City Cayman Islands, both at the East End hospital and the Camana Bay location, during the care of our beloved mother, LQG Powery.
After seeking medical care elsewhere, we were still without a clear diagnosis or treatment plan as our mother’s condition continued to worsen. It was not until she came under the care of the team at Health City that everything came together.
Dr. Adithi Nagaraju’s clinical expertise, leadership and determination were instrumental in identifying the cause of our mother’s illness. By utilising Health City’s PET scanner – the only PET scanner in the Cayman Islands – and coordinating the expertise of her colleagues, she ensured that the appropriate diagnosis was reached and treatment began without unnecessary delay.
We are equally grateful to Dr. Binoy for her meticulous follow-up care. Her professionalism, compassion and attention to detail provided confidence and reassurance throughout our mother’s treatment.
We also wish to recognise the exceptional nursing teams and healthcare professionals at both campuses. Their skill, kindness, patience and unwavering dedication brought comfort and dignity to our mother while providing invaluable support to our family.
Healthcare is a team effort, and our family’s experience demonstrated what is possible when highly skilled professionals work together with compassion and purpose.
