Two men received the same sentence after pleading guilty to conspiracy to supply ganja, but their sentences for possession of firearms differed by more than six years.

Ganja in jars, money in a teapot and guns in a locked suitcase were among items police found last year that led to a charge of conspiracy to supply ganja.

Two men charged with firearm, drug and criminal property offenses will have their matters joined in a single trial later this year. Ralston Benjamin Ebanks, 41, appeared in Grand Court on Friday, when he pleaded guilty to three firearm offenses.

Chadwick Cameron Ebanks appeared in Grand Court on Friday when he entered pleas to an eight-count indictment that included seven charges for unlicensed firearms. Ebanks, 40, pleaded not guilty to being in possession of unlicensed items at his West Bay residence on July 6.

Four guns, more than $50,000 in cash and “multiple pounds” of ganja added up to no bail for Chadwick Cameron Ebanks when he appeared in Summary Court on Monday.
