The National Council for Persons with Disabilities and the government have launched a grassroots campaign to help the community better understand who can and can't use the blue parking spots designated for people with disabilities.

The Health Services Authority is creating a new parking area at its East End District Health Centre specifically for patients with mobility issues.

Rotary Central Cayman Islands launched a national awareness campaign, “Not Your Spot,” on June 14 to educate the public of the proper and improper use of designated disabled parking spots, as well as their importance to disabled members of the local community.
