Alcohol sales, as well as dancing and music, will be prohibited on Good Friday as Cayman observes the Easter holiday.
No sale of alcohol, no dancing or music on Good Friday
Starting from midnight on Thursday, the sale of alcohol, and all dancing and music, must cease, as Cayman commences the Good Friday holiday.
Twelve public holidays in 2017
Another public holiday – Election Day – has been declared for the Cayman Islands in 2017. Governor Helen Kilpatrick has approved the Elections Office’s schedule for the general election on May 24, 2017.
