Government pledges to reform HSA board pay structure
Government has pledged to reform how statutory boards are compensated, following revelations that Health Services Authority directors took home almost half-a-million dollars over 18 months - a figure described as “obscene” by MP Chris Saunders.

Two emergency field hospitals will serve for patient overflow in Grand Cayman, in the case that COVID-19 cases stretch capacity at local hospitals. The hope is that Cayman will never need to use the facilities, said Hazard Management Director Danielle Coleman, but the aim is to prepare for worst.
Brac hospital staff completes air medical training
Six members of the Faith Hospital’s medical team completed Cayman Brac’s first air medical training course. According to the Health Services Authority, the training will enhance the safety of critically ill or injured patients needing airlift services from the Brac.
