Xposition of the Arts highlights local talent
The Tony Awards, held on June 10 at Radio City Music Hall, emphasized the importance of encouraging young talent to express themselves on the stage. Parkland School’s drama teacher Melody Herzfeld was honored at the ceremony, and students from her class performed “Seasons of Love” to a standing ovation from Broadway’s elite.
Talent on display at Exposition of the Arts
The new Self-Help Community Foundation presented its 16th Annual Talent Exposition of the Arts last month at the Harquail Theatre. The event offered an eclectic and impressive mix of rising young gifted performers, making the night a very successful one in the eyes of those who attended.
