Cayman’s third annual Run in the Dark raised $4,000 for the Mark Pollock Trust, which aims to fast track a cure for paralysis and spinal cord injuries.
Drivers should be on alert Wednesday night as runners take to the road for the third annual Run In The Dark.
Cayman’s Run in the Dark on Nov. 16 raised nearly $4,000 for the Mark Pollock Trust, a charity devoted to finding a cure for paralysis and spinal cord injury. Organizers said 134 runners/walkers participated, more than double the number that took part last year.
As darkness falls on Wednesday, Nov. 16, thousands of runners and walkers in more than 50 cities worldwide, including in Grand Cayman, will pull on their running shoes and red flashing armbands and head for the door. The Run in the Dark starts at 8 p.m. outside Margaritaville.
