A Kia sedan that crashed through a fence on Shamrock Road on Jan. 8 lay on its side for more than three days before it was removed. Just down the road, an SUV with its front end missing from a crash before Christmas, sat by the roadside for weeks until it was picked up on Jan. 11.

A man was receiving medical treatment Monday after he was injured in a single-car collision Friday night. The car he was driving struck a CUC light pole on Shamrock Road near Soto Lane just before 10 p.m., police reported. The driver of the white Kia pickup truck hit the pole while traveling eastbound.

An accident Saturday morning closed Shamrock Road outside Ocean Club.

Police are appealing to the driver of a car involved in an accident in which a pedestrian was knocked down on Shamrock Road, near Ocean Club, to come forward.
