Cayman Cocktail Week is fast approaching, and that means lots of social nights out where the latest and greatest mixologists produce exciting creations for you to sample at different venues. It runs from Oct. 21-29 with some free and some ticketed events. Here’s the lowdown on every evening in the week ahead.

Dining out is a luxury for some, which is why Restaurant Month is one of the Cayman Islands Tourism Association’s most anticipated months of the year. Folks can wine and dine at many of Cayman’s favorite restaurants throughout October for a fraction of the cost. The fixed-price menus consist of two- or three-course lunches for $15 or $20, and three-course dinners for $25, $35 or $45.

The Bistro is a French cuisine restaurant in Caribbean Plaza, run by the same people who successfully brought Mise en Place to the catering scene a number of years ago.

The winners of the 2016 Taste of Cayman food festival culinary competitions were announced Saturday, with The Bistro, The Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman’s Seven/Andiamo restaurants and Jacques Scott earning the top awards.
