Cayman Cocktail Week is fast approaching, and that means lots of social nights out where the latest and greatest mixologists produce exciting creations for you to sample at different venues.

It runs from Oct. 21-29 with some free and some ticketed events. Here’s the lowdown on every evening in the week ahead.

Bring Back Blue Opening
Royal Palms
7 p.m.-midnight

The downstairs bar at Royal Palms will be serving up blue cocktails, music, and a chance to give back to local charities. Guests get a free welcome drink between 7 and 8 p.m. and there is 2-4-1 cocktail happy “hour” between 9 and 11 p.m. Dress in blue for a free raffle ticket.

Oct. 22

Tiki Pop-Up
Books & Books
5-7:30 p.m.

There’s nothing like having a Tiki bar around when you’re browsing books, particularly when the rum cocktails are free! Yes, you too can indulge in an Appleton Rum adult beverage while contemplating buying a cocktail recipe book of your very own.

Oct. 23

Craft Your Own Caesar

Are ya feelin’ lucky, punk? Do ya think you’ve got what it takes to create your own Caesar? Well, now’s your chance to prove it! Head to Craft in Marquee Place and pick up a Ketel One vodka Caesar at the “make it yourself” bar, or if you’re not feeling quietly confident, ask Adam to make one for you.

New Orleans is otherwise known as the Big Easy, so prepare for a Mardi Gras-themed evening with a touch of creole, jazz and even voodoo on the menu.

Bulleit BBQ Brunch

Unlimited barbecue, special cocktails, bubbles and select beers are what this unique brunch is all about, highlighted by the very southern Bulleit Bourbon bar. All drinks are included in the flat rate price, along with the best barbecue food this side of the Pecos.

Around the World in 80 Days

Let Jo Austin play the role of Phileas Fogg as she takes you on a cocktail tour of four of Cayman’s best bars, with a little history thrown in. The one price covers cocktails, small bites and transport.

Whisky Lab
The Ritz-Carlton’s Culinary Studio
7-9 p.m.

Learn all about whiskys, taste the difference, then use your new-found palate and skills to try blending your own!

Big Easy Cocktail Dinner

New Orleans is otherwise known as the Big Easy, so prepare for a Mardi Gras-themed evening with a touch of creole, jazz and even voodoo on the menu. Five courses paired with high-end cocktails offer an unforgettable experience. Dress up to match the theme – pull those beads out of the closet!

Rock ‘N’ Roll Cocktails

It’s a night of Jack Daniel’s-inspired cocktails at Macabuca, with live rock music and livelier bartenders. Even if you weren’t a Jack fan before, you may find your mind being changed after tonight. You know what they say: Once you go Jack, you never go back!

Each Friday of Cocktail Week, The Bistro will showcase a different class cocktail and show how it pairs perfectly with traditional French cuisine. Oct. 28 is the final date.

It’s Friday Flight Night at Craft, where guests can try up to four different cocktails as part of a specially prepared flight. (5-10 p.m.)

Yoshi’s Sushi has a great special running every night for the month of October. Grab some sushi and enjoy $4 cocktails and wine from 4:30-7 p.m. or 10 p.m.-close.
