An industrial truck caught fire at the Butterfield roundabout in George Town on Monday morning, causing alarm among motorists.
Firefighters arrived quickly on the scene to put out the fire, which was reported around 11.20am.
The driver had pulled the smoking vehicle to the side of the road, where firefighters quenched the flames.
No one was injured in the incident.
