A 56-year-old Canadian man has died after getting into difficulties while swimming off a Cayman beach, police have said.
The man was pulled from the waters off Cemetery Beach in West Bay by friends after they spotted he was in trouble.
He was pulled to shore, but lost consciousness. Firefighters first on the scene gave the man CPR until paramedics arrived.
The man, who has not been named, was rushed to the Anthony S. Eden Hospital, but was later pronounced dead by doctors.

The incident happened at about 3:40pm on Friday, 6 March.
