Air service to Chicago resumes

Cayman Airways’ non-stop jet service to Chicago will commence 18 December 18 following almost a three-month suspension of this service.

Chicago, the birthplace of Robin Williams and Harrison Ford and home of the world’s second tallest building – the Sears’ Tower, is an intriguing destination for locals with many attractions and activities, states a CAL press release.

Visitors are invited to lodge in any of Chicago’s 28,000+ hotel rooms, dine at any of it’s 7,000+ restaurants, shop in fabulous boutiques and outlet stores on the world-famous Miracle Mile, be amazed by the exotic exhibits and captivating marine life at the world’s largest aquarium – the Shedd Aquarium, or simply wander among Chicago’s 11,499 acres of public open space.

Grand Cayman (GCM) – Chicago (ORD)

Flight 504; departs 4.30pm; arrives 7.25pm

Chicago (ORD) – Grand Cayman (GCM)

Flight 505; departs 7.45am; arrives 12:40pm

As the national flag carrier of the Cayman Islands, Cayman Airways’ schedule includes non-stop Boeing 737 jet service between Boston, Chicago, Houston, Tampa, Miami, Ft. Lauderdale and Grand Cayman, and jet service to Cayman Brac and Kingston and Montego Bay, Jamaica and Havana, Cuba. Cayman Airways has also reintroduced daily turbo-prop service via Cayman Airways Express between the three Cayman Islands, Grand Cayman, Cayman Brac and Little Cayman.
