Following a short-form preliminary inquiry, defendant John Talmage Gouldbourne has been committed to stand trial in Grand Court on a charge of murder.
He is accused of murdering Moreen Maree Williams on 18 August in West Bay.
Gouldbourne also faces a charge of possession of an unlicensed firearm – a .38 semi-automatic pistol and ammunition.
He is represented by Attorney James Austin Smith.
Magistrate Nova Hall remanded the defendant in custody until 5 January, the date of the next Grand court opening.
